J-Pass : Satellite Passes

Only a few satellites are visible with the naked eye or even aided with binoculars.  But once you see a satellite pass at night, you might think it was a UFO or meteor (falling star). We developed J-Pass to help you view some of the most visible satellite passes.

We have several versions of J-Pass currently on-line.  All version require JAVA except J-Pass Generator

All you need is a browser with JAVA to see J-Pass (shown at right).

When using the JAVA J-Pass applets, a satellite crossing the J-Pass display, shows green when the satellite is sun-lit and magenta (pink) when it is not. A sun-lit satellite in a clear night sky is the best viewing condition.

More Tracking! If you have never seen J-Track, you need to see this JAVA!

* Netscape 4.0.1 users must upgrade to 4.0.2.  4.0.1 has a bug which causes a JIT Compiler error.
