Where:

Microgravity Materials Science Conference, June 6-8, Von Braun Center, North Hall

The Von Braun Center is located at 700 Monroe Street, Huntsville, Alabama, 35801 and is wheel chair accessible. The Conference will be held in the North Hall of the VBC (facing Clinton Street). You may enter the Von Braun Center from the front on Monroe Street (across from the Hilton Hotel) and signs will direct you to the North Hall. If you are staying at another hotel you will be able to park in the garage under the South Hall of VBC where the cost will be $4.00 per day. See area map.

Registration Reception
June 5, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Huntsville Museum of Art (across from Von Braun Center)

A registration reception will be held Monday, June 5, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Museum of Art, 300 Church Street, South. The Museum is located in Big Spring International Park and is diagonally across the street from the Huntsville Hilton Hotel. This is an opportunity to renew old acquaintances, meet new co-workers, and socialize before the Conference in a convivial surrounding. Refreshments will be available. Registration will continue at the conference site, the North Hall of the Von Braun Center, on Tuesday, June 6, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Conference Reception
June 6, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, U.S. Space & Rocket Center (Bus service provided)

The conference reception with heavy hors d'ourves and cash bar will be at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center on Tuesday, June 6, from 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. This is the world's largest space attraction. Transportation will be provided. Guest tickets can be purchased for $20.00.

Banquet
June 7, 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Von Braun Center

A banquet will be held at the Von Braun Center on June 7 following the close of the day's session. The featured speaker is yet to be decided. Guest tickets can be purchased for $20.00. Please indicate on the registration form if you prefer a vegetarian entrée.

Lunches (Von Braun Center)

This year lunch will be served as a buffet and will have a different theme each day. Tuesday will be Italian, Wednesday will be Louisiana barbecue and Thursday will be Oriental. There will be ample vegetarian dishes each day. Please check the appropriate boxes on the registration form so we will have an estimate of participation each day. The cost of lunch is included in the registration fee.
