Preflight Science Update, June 30, 1997 3:28 p.m. CDT

The Microgravity Science Laboratory (MSL-1/STS-94) is scheduled to launch July 1, 1997 at 12:50 p.m. CDT on a 16 day flight. STS-94 is the reflight of the abbreviated STS-83 mission which flew in April of this year. Current weather forecasts for Cape Canaveral indicate a 90% chance that the launch will be delayed one day.
