Amendment 27: New proposal opportunity, A.44 Hurricane Science Research Program.
Amendment 27 presents a new proposal opportunity, Appendix A.44, the Hurricane Science Research Program. The due date for Notices of Intent is Tuesday, November 15, 2011. The due date for proposals is Friday, January 6, 2012.
Correction of Appendix A.31 Desdyni STD
The minimum requirement for 3 months of time for Co-Leaders has been removed from Section 2.4 of Appendix A.31 the Science Definition Team For The Desdyni-Radar Mission.
Appendix A.35: Final for Appendix A.35, Earth Science Applications: Wildland Fires
Appendix A.35 presents the text and proposal due dates for Appendix A.35, Earth Science Applications: Wildland Fires. Notices of Intent to propose (NOIs) are due October 27, 2011. Proposals are due December 16, 2011.
Amendment 25 Due Date delayed for Appendix A.29 Satellite Calibration Interconsistency Studies.
The Due Date delayed Appendix A.29, the Satellite Calibration Interconsistency Studies Program. The due date is delayed to Thursday, September 22, 2011 in order to give more time to proposers who are without power because of Hurricane Irene.
Clarification of Appendix A.28 Interdisciplinary Research in Earth Science
A paragraph has been added to Appendix A.28, Interdisciplinary Research in Earth Science to Clarify the requirement that data used must be public.
Amendment 24 Due Date delayed for Appendix C.7, the Outer Planets Research (OPR) Program
The Due Date delayed Appendix C.7, the Outer Planets Research (OPR) Program, is being delayed. The new due date for proposals will be Friday, November 4, 2011.
Amendment 23 creates Appendix D.9: The Nancy Grace Roman Technology Fellowship (RTF) Program in Astrophysics.
Appendix D.9: The Nancy Grace Roman Technology Fellowship (RTF) Program in Astrophysics is for recent Ph.D. recipients in an early-career non-tenured position such as a postdoctoral, tenure-track, term civil service. Notices of Intent to propose are due October 7, 2011, and proposals are due November 18, 2011.
Amendment 22 Two week delay of proposal Due Dates for A.32, C.18, E.5, and E.6.
The due dates for Appendix A.32, the New (Early Career) Investigator Program, Appendix C.18, the Planetary Protection Research Program, and Appendices E.5 and E.6, the Cross Division Supplemental Outreach and Education Programs, respectively, have been delayed by two weeks.

Amendment 21 presents final text for ROSES-11 Appendix A.33, Earth Science Applications: Disasters Notices of Intent to propose are due September 22, 2011 and Proposals are due November 22, 2011.
Amendment 20 revised text for Appendix A.2, Land-Cover Land-Use Change for Early Career Scientists.
This amendment extends the period for the eligibility to apply; those who received their Ph.D. no earlier than 2005 are eligible to propose.
