ROSES 2014 Clarifications, corrections and amendments Amendment 21: DFRAP cancelation, Dawn added to DDAP

Description: Amendment 21 cancels C.20 the Dawn Focused Research and Analysis Program and makes analysis of Dawn mission data eligible for submission the C.11 Discovery Data Analysis Program. Those who are planning to propose fundamental research associated with Ceres are encouraged to submit a Step-1 proposal to C.3, Solar System Workings by THIS FRIDAY May 23, 2014.

On release of ROSES-14 in February 2014, C.20 was listed as TBD with the intention to release the Dawn Focused Research and Analysis Program (DFRAP). Instead, C.20 will not be solicited this year and the scope of C.11, the Discovery Data Analysis Program (DDAP), has been expanded to include the Dawn mission data. Those who are planning to propose fundamental research associated with Ceres are encouraged to submit a Step-1 proposal to C.3, Solar System Workings (SSW) by THIS FRIDAY May 23, 2014, and Step-2 proposals are due July 25, 2014. DDAP due dates remain unchanged. Step-1 proposals are due July 14, 2014, and Step-2 proposals are due September 12, 2014. NASA intends to issue a Dawn Guest Investigator Program through C.20, by an Amendment to ROSES-2014.
