ROSES 2012 Clarifications, corrections and amendments Amendment 17: Euclid and JUICE missions not eligible for Appendix D.11, APEX USPI.

Description: Amendment 17 announces that investigations involving the European Space Agency Euclid and Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) missions are not solicited through Appendix D.11 of ROSES. The due dates remain unchanged: Notices of Intent are requested by October 12, 2012, and proposals are due by December 14, 2012.

Astrophysics Explorer U.S. Participating Investigator (APEX USPI) was released in conjunction with release of Amendment 3 to the Second Stand Alone Mission of Opportunity Notice (SALMON-2) Announcement of Opportunity Program Element Amendment (PEA) L: Astrophysics Explorer Mission of Opportunity. The intention of this call is to solicit proposals for investigators to participate as Co-Is for an instrument, experiment, or technology demonstration that is being built and flown by a sponsor agency other than NASA.

The SALMON-2 PEA L already noted two current mission calls that are excluded, but the ROSES appendix did not include this information. This amendment is to explicitly announce that investigations involving the European Space Agency Euclid and Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) missions are not solicited through Appendix D.11 of ROSES.

The due dates remain unchanged: Notices of Intent are requested by October 12, 2012, and proposals are due by December 14, 2012.
