Amendment 21: New Opportunity in A.52 CYGNSS Science Team

The Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS) Mission was originally conceived to support improved sampling of ocean surface winds in tropical cyclones, by reducing the revisit time and lowering the sensitivity to precipitation relative to previous satellite-based wind observations, such as those from scatterometers. ROSES program element A.52, the competed CYGNSS Science Team, seeks to expand the scope of science addressed by the mission by considering other uses and applications of its science data products.

Amendment 21 Announces the release of new program element A.52, which competes the Science Team for the CYGNSS Mission.

Notices of Intent to propose are requested by September 8, 2017 and proposals are due November 8, 2017.
