Amendment 34: B.10 LWS SC Deferred to ROSES-2020

The Living With a Star (LWS) Program emphasizes the science necessary to understand those aspects of the Sun and Earth’s space environment that affect life and society. The ultimate goal of the LWS Program is to provide a scientific understanding of the system that leads to predictive capability of the space environment conditions at Earth, other planetary systems, and in the interplanetary medium. The LWS Science program maintains a strategy with three components, namely, Strategic Capabilities, Targeted Investigations, and Cross-Disciplinary Infrastructure Building programs.

On or about September 9, 2019, Amendment 34 will defer to ROSES-2020 the release of program element B.10 Living With a Star Strategic Capabilities (LWS SC).

When ROSES-2019 was released B.10 LWS SC was listed as "TBD" in anticipation of the release of final text for this program element this year. However, due to overlap with other similar programs, this program element has been deferred to ROSES-2020.

Questions regarding this program element and this amendment to ROSES may be directed to Jeff Morrill at jeff.s.morrill@nasa.gov and Simon Plunkett at simon.p.plunkett@nasa.gov.
