What first sparked your interest in science, technology, engineering, and/or math?
I didn’t feel connected to the fields much when I was in school. My work in informal education really helped me broaden my understanding of STEM and what it means to have an interest in them.

Learning *about* science is just as important, worthwhile, and valid as learning to *do* science.
