International Observe the Moon Night is an interdisciplinary program celebrating the Moon in art and culture as well as lunar science, exploration, and technology. Everyone is encouraged to interpret "observe" broadly.
Each year, some lunar observers honor our nearest neighbor in space by creating Moon-themed art, music, or poetry.
Read on for examples from our global observing community, and visit the Past Events page to browse collaborative image galleries from past years of International Observe the Moon Night.
