An annular solar eclipse will be visible in parts of South America and Africa, including Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. Large areas of South America, Africa, Antarctica, the South Pacific Ocean, and South Atlantic Ocean will also experience a partial solar eclipse.

A total solar eclipse will be visible in southern Spain, North Africa (including Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt), Saudi Arabia, and Yemen. A partial eclipse will be visible in most of Europe, much of Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, eastern Canada, northern Maine in the U.S., as well as the Atlantic and Indian oceans.
