STS-125 MS3 Grunsfeld during EVA5
STS-125 Mission Specialist 3 (MS3) John Grunsfeld participates in the mission's fifth and final session of extravehicular activity (EVA5) as work continued to refurbish and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope. During the seven-hour and two-minute spacewalk, Grunsfeld and mission specialist Andrew Feustel (out of frame) installed a replacement battery module, removed and replaced a Fine Guidance Sensor, and installed three thermal blankets (NOBLs) that protect Hubble's electronics.
