Hubble Control Center – Servcing Mission 4
Engineers and controllers watch avidly as astronauts grapple the Hubble Space Telescope and attach it to the Space Shuttle Atlantis for upgrades and repairs in May 2009. Servicing Mission 4 would be one of the most challenging visits to the Hubble Space Telescope. In addition to replacing two instruments, spacewalking astronauts would fix a number of critical components — including some that had not been designed to be repaired.
