Explorer 1 Atop the Jupiter-C in Gantry

Explorer 1 can be seen atop the Jupiter-C rocket in teh gantry as teh launch date neared. Explorer 1 was originally set to launch Jan. 29, 1058 but was delayed two days because of high winds.
