
Nancy Grace Roman Visits Hubble Control Center
Nancy Grace Roman holds a model of the Hubble Space Telescope during a visit to the Space Telescope Operations Control Center at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Roman was NASA's first chief astronomer and paved the way for the creation of space telescopes focused on the broader universe. She is celebrated for being the "mother" of the Hubble Space Telescope.
