Finland's coast along the Gulf of Bothnia, which is near black in color, is shown. There are numerous islands along the coast, most notably Björkö. The land on the islands and much of mainland Finland is covered in a somewhat dulled shade of green. Streaks of land appear lighter in shade, beige to light green, where people are farming the land.  Among them, near the mainland coast below Björkö is the City of Vaasa with Vanha-Vaasa, labeled more inland.
