In a depression surrounded by mountains on all sides are Klyuchevoye Lake and Shtyubela Lake, the former of which is a light shade of blue and larger than the dark Shtyubela Lake. Shtyubela Lake is also connected to Khodutka River which exits the image up and to the right. The landscape varies from deep green foliage, primarily to the lower left and around the river to bare beige rock. Thin streaks of snow appear in the many valleys around the Stubel Crater that holds these lakes.
