
Hubble Operations Pointing Mode Test
Larry Stake, a member of the Flight Operations Team, scrutinizes data while helping test a new way of pointing the Hubble Space Telescope on June 16, 2020. The adjustment let Hubble bypass a problematic gyroscope, a sensor used to determine which direction and how fast Hubble is turning.
