The Merowe Reservoir is a dark blue body of water on the Nile on the far of the image. The border of the river appear green, feeder valleys from further right in the image all appear bright blue and channel toward the Nile. In the upper right are the dark open waters of the Red Sea with Port Sudan on the coast and some vivid bright blue cloud slightly further inland.
