This standards-aligned unit with 11 activities explores the science and Iñupiaq cultural significance of the aurora. The unit features a 25-minute video and six interactive multimedia resources. Activity-based assessments are provided. The curriculum is in English with key terms in two Iñupiaq dialects. An online Alaska Native Language tool is available to support language inclusion in the classroom.
