Getting Hands-on with Astromaterials Assets at AGU


The American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting was held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA from December 9-13, 2019.

As part of the NASA booth, the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) team brought Astromaterials assets including Apollo lunar samples, a carbonaceous meteorite, meteorite hand samples, a replica of the Apollo Next Generation Sample Analysis (ANGSA) core tube & more!

The ARES team interacted with ~4,600+ visitors throughout the week, many of whom came back day after day.

Scientists from ARES also gave Hyperwall talks throughout the week.
