GLOBE Presentation to UN Environment Climate Leadership’s Sustainable Leaders’ Hub Program

On January 19th, 2022, Brian Campbell (from Science Activation's NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative, NESEC) gave a virtual presentation as part of the United Nations Environment Climate Leadership’s new Sustainable Leaders’ Hub Program, based at the United Nations Environment Programme in Warsaw, Poland, with support from the United States Embassy in Warsaw. Brian’s presentation, “Looking at NASA Earth Science Missions, Climate Change, and the GLOBE Program’s Environmental Observations and Identifying Change Over Time” was part of a Climate 101 Workshop attended by over 35 researchers, citizen scientists, and members of the public from the Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, and Poland. The workshop goal was to expand knowledge and exchange good practices to help companies develop more climate-neutral business models. This first webinar was devoted to learning and understanding the basics of climate change.
