Dan Woods

Dan Woods is the Assistant Deputy Associate Administrator for Management, responsible for supporting the formulation and execution of the Directorate’s $7B+ billion budget, as well assisting in the oversight of all strategic planning and policy development activities. He is also responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Directorate's approximately 160-person Headquarters organization. Starting in January 2024, Mr. Woods is serving as the Acting Director for the Science Engagement and Partnerships Division. Mr. Woods received a B.S. (Political Science) from the University of Tennessee, Martin in 1988, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990. He joined NASA in 1990 as a Presidential Management Intern.
