Dan Woods

Dan Woods is the Director for Business Operations for SMD (DBO). Previously, he was the Deputy Associate Administrator for Management, responsible for supporting the formulation and execution of the Directorate’s $7B+ billion budget, as well assisting in the oversight of all strategic planning and messaging activities. He was also responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Directorate’s approximately 260-person Headquarters organization.

Mr. Woods received a B.S. (Political Science) from the University of Tennessee, Martin in 1988, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1990. He joined NASA in 1990 as a Presidential Management Intern.
