
Rob Landis
Program Officer
Rob Landis of NASA’s Ames Research Center is a PDCO Program Officer located at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. In his role, he assists the PDCO with strengthening relations within the U.S. interagency including leading technical interchanges with operational elements, and with technical oversight of the Near-Earth Object Observations Program portfolio. Landis previously coordinated the International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN), served as the first Program Executive for the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART), and provided expert input on asteroid exploration studies. Landis has worked in flight operations on several NASA robotic missions, Shuttle missions, International Space Station expeditions, and aircraft projects. He earned a B.S. in Astrophysics from Michigan State University and a M.S. in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota.
