Elizabeth Joyner, My NASA Data, presented with Kristin Hunter-Thomson, Dataspire, to 107 participants on strategies for teaching data literacy during the SXSW EDU 2021 conference on Mar. 9. 2021. Using My NASA Data's Earth System Data Explorer as a model, the presenters showcased strategies for teaching data exploration by leveraging principles of visual perception with NASA Data. The SXSW EDU is a yearly event that is most known for fostering innovation and learning within the education industry.
