  • POC change for A.47 INCA

    Allison Leidner is no longer a technical point of contact for Appendix A.47, Development and Testing of Potential Indicators for The National Climate Assessment.

  • Amendment 13: Proposal Due Date Delayed for Appendix C.7, OPR

    The due date for proposals to Appendix C.7, the Outer Planets Research Program, has been delayed to November 2, 2012, so as not to overlap with the DPS meeting. NOIs are still requested by August 24.

  • New POC for Appendix D.9 ATF

    The point of contact for Nancy Grace Roman Technology Fellowships has changed to Louis Kaluzienski.

  • Appendix C.19 MatISSE TRL levels now reference NPR 7120.8

    The discussion of Technology Readiness Levels in Appendix C.19, The Maturation of Instruments for Solar System Exploration Program, has been updated to reference Appendix J of NASA Procedural Requirement 7120.8.

  • Amendment 12: Final Text and two Stage Submission for Appendix A.4, Terrestrial Ecology.

    Amendment 12 presents the final text for this Appendix A.4 Terrestrial Ecology, which replaces in its entirety the placeholder text that was released with ROSES 2012. Step-1 proposals are due September 18, 2012 and Step-2 proposals are due January 8, 2013.

  • Amendment 11: Final Text and New Name for Appendix C.19, the Maturation of Instruments for Solar System Exploration (MatISSE) Program.

    Amendment 11 presents final text for Appendix C.19, which replaces the previous version in its entirety. The name of this program has been changed from Astrobiology Science and Technology for Instrument Development, as it was at the time of release of ROSES in February 2012, to the Maturation of Instruments for Solar System Exploration. Notices of intent are requested by August 31, 2012, and proposals are due by October 31, 2012.

  • Appendixes C.16 (was PIDD now PICASSO) and C.20 (ASTEP) will not be solicited in ROSES 2012

    Appendix C.20, the Astrobiology Science and Technology for Exploring Planets (ASTEP) program will not be solicited in ROSES 2012. Appendix C.16, which was released as the Planetary Instrument Definition and Development Program (PIDDP) will not be solicited in ROSES 2012. However, we anticipate that Appendix C.16 will be solicited in ROSES 2013 as the Planetary Instrument Concepts for the Advancement of Solar System Observations (PICASSO) Program and draft text is presented in Appendix C.16 of ROSES 2012.

  • Amendment 10: New Call for proposals in Appendix A.47 entitled Indicators for the National Climate Assessment

    There is a new opportunity in ROSES 2012: Appendix A.47, Development and Testing of Potential Indicators For The National Climate Assessment. Notices of Intent are requested by August 3, 2012, and proposals are due by October 5, 2012.

  • Clarification to ROSES 12 Summary of Solicitation regarding Public Law 112-10 restrictions involving PRC

    We have updated the language in the Summary of Solicitation regarding Public Law 112-10 which specifies that FY 2011 & FY 2012 funding cannot be used for work involves bilateral activity with organizations in the Peoples Republic of China. Also, a link is provided to a FAQ on the SARA web page.

  • Amendment 9: Final text for Appendix A.27 AITT

    On or about June 25, 2012 Amendment 9 will present the final text of Appendix A.27Airborne Instrument Technology Transition, which replaces the draft version in its entirety. Notices of Intent to propose are requested by July 23, 2012. Proposals are due on September 24, 2012
