IXPE Cycle 3 Pre-Proposal Workshop – 2nd Announcement

The call for proposals for IXPE Cycle 3 has been released under the “Combined General Investigator General Observer Program” as part of the Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Science (ROSES)-2025. The due date for IXPE proposals is 11 September 2025. New for this call are multi-cycle proposals and joint programs with XRISM and NRAO. Details are available in the D.3 Appendix [PDF].

The IXPE pre-proposal workshop will be held virtually on 23 July 2025, at noon to 3 pm (US Eastern Daylight Time). To attend, please register by filling out this form. Registration is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about proposing for new IXPE observations. The meeting link will be sent via e-mail a day before the start of the meeting to all registered participants. The workshop will include presentations on the IXPE mission, its major scientific achievements, the General Observer Program and changes for Cycle 3, and proposal-preparation and data analysis tools.
