Messier 92: Amateur Image vs. Hubble Image
Messier 92 (M92) is a globular star cluster located some 27,000 light-years away in the constellation Hercules. M92 is one of the brightest globular clusters in the Milky Way. The left image was taken with an 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope using a 0.63x focal reducer and a DSLR Camera. The right image was taken by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope.
