Deputy Program Scientist for the Earth Surface and Interior Program

Kevin Reath is a Deputy Program Scientist for the Earth Surface and Interior Program. He also serves as the chair for the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Research and Analysis subgroup, and the Deputy Program Scientist for the Earth Surface Mineral Dust Source Investigation (EMIT) mission.

Dr. Reath is contracted to NASA through Agile Decision Sciences. Prior to joining Agile Decision Sciences, he was a post-doctoral USGS Powell Center Fellow where he assisted in leading a research group with a focus on integrating InSAR, thermal, and degassing remote sensing data of volcanic systems. He was the first participant of a traveling PhD program which took place at the University of Pittsburgh, University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Hawaii, and Bristol University which focused on thermal analysis of volcanic activity and hyperspectral analysis of geothermally active areas.
