IXPE Cycle 4 Call For Proposals And Reviewers; Proposal Deadline 17 September 2026

We wish to remind you that the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) Cycle 4 General Observer proposals are due on September 17th, 2026.  Please refer to our proposers web page for a description of the program, submission details, and schedule.  The ARK/RPS portal is now open for proposal submission here

We strongly encourage prospective proposers to review the recent updates to the IXPE General Observer program. Should you have any questions regarding the General Observer program, please contact the IXPE help desk without hesitation.

We will begin forming peer-review committees in the coming weeks. The review will be conducted virtually in mid-November. If you would like to be considered as a reviewer, please email kavitha.arur@nasa.gov with a brief description of your research interests and expertise. Reviewers must hold a PhD at the time of the review.

Additionally, we are seeking graduate students to serve as executive secretaries during the review process. Interested candidates should contact kavitha.arur@nasa.gov including a brief summary of their research interests and relevant expertise.
