ROSES-25: B.5 Research and Development of Initiatives of Advanced New Technologies Final Text and Due Dates

The ROSES opportunity B.5 Research and Development of Initiatives of Advanced New Technologies (RADIANT) seeks innovative adaptations and applications of existing AI techniques, concepts, methodologies, etc. to demonstrate their feasibility and potential to increase science return, create AI ready data and data products as well as to inform Heliophysics science research disciplines of promising techniques and capabilities. A high priority is on those which interface to the Surya foundation model for heliophysics [PDF] and demonstrate its value in accelerating scientific investigations.

ROSES-2025 Amendment 32 releases final text and due dates for B.5 RADIANT, which was previously a TBD placeholder. Mandatory Notices of Intent (NOIs) are due 26 January 2026, and proposals are due 27 April 2026.
