Space Science Week Astrophysics Sessions on 26 March 2026

Space Science Week 2026 will be held in a hybrid format on 23-27 March 2026, including plenary sessions on 24 March and a keynote public lecture on 25 March. In-person activities are taking place at the National Academy of Sciences Building, 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. The Committee on Astronomy and Astrophysics (CAA) will be holding open and closed sessions on 24-26 March.
There are presentations related to NASA, space exploration, science, technology, STEM, and updates from NSF, DOE, international agencies. Please see the full agenda for details.

- 9:15a: NASA Astrophysics Update - Dr. Shawn Domagal-Goldman, Astrophysics Division Director, NASA-SMD (20-minute presentation and 25-minute discussion)
- 10:00a: Swift Reboost: Planning & Progress - Dr. Jamie Kennea, Research Professor, Penn State University (20-minute presentation and 15-minute discussion)
