Swift and TDAMM: New Tricks for the Old Dog

Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss NASA's Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory, which is now 20 years old. It is an epochal mission for Time Domain and Multi-Messenger Astrophysics (TDAMM). Swift became involved in TDAMM in the early 2010s, performing follow-up observations of neutrino detections by the IceCube observatory. In addition, Swift has been involved in LIGO follow-up since before the current Advanced LIGO era, with follow-up observations of (fake) triggers detected in 2009-2010. I will demonstrate how the unique approach to Swift Operations and the capabilities of Swift have led to the development of new capabilities that have kept it at the cutting edge of TDAMM observing, despite its advanced age.
