There was considerable haze (gray pixels) over northeastern India and Bangladesh (lower right) on February 14, 2003. The Himalayan Mountains to the north are mostly covered by snow.

The high-resolution image provided above is 500 meters per pixel. The MODIS Rapid Response System provides this image at MODIS’ maximum spatial resolution of 250 meters.
