Astronauts Perform Third Extravehicular Activity of the Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission

Anchored on the end of the Space Shuttle Endeavour's Remote Manipulator System arm, Jeffrey A. Hoffman (foreground) prepares to install the new Wide Field and Planetary Camera (WFPC2) into the empty cavity (top left) on the Hubble Space Telescope. The original Wide Field and Planetary Camera is seen temporarily stowed at the bottom right. F. Story Musgrave is setting up a portable foot restraint as his image is reflected in the shiny surface of the telescope. Hoffman and Musgrave shared chores on three of the five extravehicular activities during Hubble's first servicing mission in December 1993.
