Astronaut Joseph R. Tanner

Joseph R. Tanner, STS-82 mission specialist, is backdropped against Earth's limb and a sunburst effect in this 35-mm photo taken by Gregory J. Harbaugh, mission specialist, his extravehicular activity (EVA) crewmate. Harbaugh's torso is reflected in Tanner's helmet visor. The two were making their second EVA and the fourth one of five for the crew in order to service the Hubble Space Telescope.
