Flight Controllers Monitor Astronauts during Servicing Mission 1 Spacewalk

Flight controllers Harry Black (left foreground) and Kevin McCluney (right foreground) monitor the televised activity of two spacewalkers during the first extravehicular activity of Servicing Mission 1. Astronauts F. Story Musgrave and Jeffrey A. Hoffman were performing a variety of equipment replacements. At the Integrated Communications Officer Console, Black plays a role in controlling the TV, while McLuney's duties deal with maintenance, mechanical, arm, and crew systems.
