HST Docked to Discovery

In the Space Shuttle Discovery's cargo bay, the Hubble Space Telescope is backdropped against Earth's limb and atmosphere following its servicing by astronauts and prior to its release at the end of the second servicing mission in February 1997. Two teams of two spacewalkers each alternated extravehicular activity (EVA) days to complete five total days of servicing tasks on the orbiting observatory.
