A sandy spit of land spans the majority of the image horizontally with breaks on both sides where the ocean, dark blue at the top of the image but heavily clouded with sediment below the island. The island, while having a sandy coast that borders the open ocean, has land with vegetation on the inland side and center, even seeming to include farmland.
