Reaching Everyone

Since it began, the Science Activation (SciAct) program has been committed to sharing NASA science with as many people as possible. SciAct brings new people to the process of science via projects specifically designed to support people based on geographical regions and specific audience types, as well as projects that are broadly open and accessible to everyone.

The wheel below sorts projects according to whether they focus on a specific geographic region, focus on a specific audience segment, or are broadly open and available to all.

A circular graphic titled 'Broadening Participation' split into two main sections labeled 'Focus' and 'Aspect.' The orange 'Focus' section highlights topics such as Alaska Native/Arctic, Neurodiverse/N3, Rural_Tribal/NESSP, and Blind, Low vision/Soundscapes. The green 'Aspect' section includes programs like Cosmic Storytelling, NASA HEAT, Eclipse Ballooning, and Mission Earth. Each section lists specific initiatives or themes aiming to enhance inclusion and diversity in participation.
