Can You See UV? Solar Exploration Cards

This image of the Sun, captured by the NASA/ESA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) mission, shows the Sun in an intense, burning orange. Several solar features are visible including a Coronal Mass Ejection, erupting in a loop off of the Sun at two o'clock, and several solar flares show as brighter regions in the middle of the Sun. The Sun's atmosphere, the corona, is also visible, shown as a light orange glow around the edge of the Sun.
