Amendment 80: Increased Budget and Additional POC for B.15 GOLD ICON Guest Investigators.

The Global-scale Observations of the Limb and Disk (GOLD) and the Ionospheric Connection Explorer (ICON) Guest Investigators program (GIGI) is intended to maximize the scientific return from these missions by providing support for research beyond the scope of work of the mission science teams. It also allows scientists who are not associated with a mission team to participate in the mission science.

This amendment increases the expected annual budget for this program from $750K to $1750K and another point of contact has been added to Section 5, the Summary Table of Key Information. New text is in bold. The due dates remain unchanged: Step-1 proposals are due February 24, 2021 and Step-2 proposals are due April 14, 2021.

On or about January 9, 2021, this Amendment to the NASA Research Announcement "Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2020" (NNH20ZDA001N) will be posted on the NASA research opportunity homepage at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2020.

Questions concerning this amendment may be directed to Jeff Morrill at jeff.s.morrill@nasa.gov and John McCormack at john.p.mccormack@nasa.gov.
