E.9 Citizen Science Seed Funding Program Clarified

The Citizen Science Seed Funding Program (CSSFP) Element of ROSES aims to support scientists and other experts to develop citizen science projects relevant to NASA's Astrophysics, Heliophysics and Planetary Science Research Programs and proposals relevant to the Biological and Physical Sciences Division may also be considered on a case by case basis. The CSSFP aims to advance the use of citizen science by incubating citizen science projects as they are being conceived or during critical transitions, like the year when they are first launched or beta tested (i.e., when the first group of volunteers is invited to try the project) or when the project changes scientific direction.

On or about December 3, 2020, the first paragraph of Section 4 of E.9 Citizen Science Seed Funding Program has been lightly edited, but there is no change to the meaning. New text is in bold and deleted text is struck through. The due date is unchanged.

Questions concerning Citizen Science Seed Funding Program may be directed to Marc Kuchner, who may be reached at marc.kuchner@nasa.gov.
