Sol 0967: Mast-Mounted Navigation Camera, Cylindrical Perspective

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity took 9 image pairs in Gale Crater using its mast-mounted Navigation Camera (Navcam) to create this mosaic. The seam-corrected mosaic provides a 164-degree cylindrical perspective projection panorama of the Martian surface suitable for stereo viewing, centered at 349 degrees azimuth (measured clockwise from north). This anaglyph must be viewed with red/blue glasses (red over left eye). Curiosity took the images on April 27, 2015, Sol 967 of the Mars Science Laboratory mission at drive 522, site number 47. The local mean solar time for the image exposures was from 1 PM to 3 PM. Each Navcam image has a 45-degree field of view. CREDIT: NASA/JPL-Caltech
