On Thursday, March 4 Jessica Taylor and Tina Harte led a webinar on gender equitable strategies for teachers in engaging rural girls in STEM. This session was part of the 3-D Thursdays monthly webinar series for rural educators. Over 100 educators signed up for the session “Engaging Rural Girls in STEM: Gender Equitable Strategies for Educators.” Forty educators signed in live to the interactive session. Teachers learned about the SciGirls’ research-based strategies for promoting STEM identity with girls and discussed classroom implementation strategies in break out groups.
