Amendment 27: D.11 NICER GO Final Text and Due Date

Amendment 27 releases final text and announces the final due date for program element D.11, The Neutron Star Interior Composition Explorer (NICER) Guest Observer (GO) program.

The NICER GO program solicits proposals for observations with NICER addressing all areas of astrophysics, with 7 Ms of available time and ~$1.5 M available in FY20. Proposers may also request coordinated NuSTAR observations of their proposed NICER targets. A total of up to 400 ks of NuSTAR observing time is available within this Cycle.

Phase-1 proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. Eastern time November 13, 2019 (via ARK/RPS).
