Key statistics include: 39,123: Total number of discovered near-Earth asteroids of all sizes. 873: Discovered asteroids larger than 1 kilometer, with an estimated 50 left to be found. 11,343: Discovered asteroids larger than 140 meters, with an estimated 14,000 remaining to be found.
