Sunday, December 8, 2024 in Washington, DC. This community discussion will unite stakeholders to explore collaboration and innovation in hosted payloads on orbital platforms, with NASA’s Flight Opportunities Program highlighting vendor capabilities and seeking input to advance science missions.

Attendees encountered the latest advances in NASA-funded technology for Planetary Science, including: remote and in-situ sensing instruments, platforms, components, communications, automation, and modeling.

The goal of this event is to foster the development of productive partnerships between commercial data product developers and the science community, and explore innovative ways to improve processing archived and real-time satellite data. 

The NASA Entrepreneurs Challenge identifies entrepreneurs and visionaries with innovative ideas for new instruments and technologies with the potential to advance the agency’s science mission goals.

Fostering discussions about innovative new technologies that may substantially improve future planetary science missions. 

Facilitating community learning through the sharing, exchange, and collection of experiences with small satellite mission development and execution across all NASA mission areas. 

An overview of SmallSat mission development and fostering new relationships among the NASA community to discuss a variety of topics relevant to SmallSat mission success.
