Welcome to MatPAG

We are a community with open membership for anyone interested in materials science in microgravity and reduced gravity.  We hope to include members from academia, government, and industry – domestic and international.

NASA administers this community and others like it to create an up-to-date point of contact that can respond to questions that require a broad and current understanding of a scientific domain.  The MatPAG in particular specializes in topics most relevant to the Microgravity Materials Science Discipline of the Physical Sciences Program and the Commercially Enabled Rapid Space Science (CERISS) project within the Biological and Physical Science Division (BPS) of the NASA Science Mission Directorate (SMD).

By joining the MatPAG you can read these reports on the state of our field and contribute your own knowledge and opinions to help NASA make informed decisions.
