Virtual Tour Training with Infiniscope
Infiniscope welcomed over 170 educators to our summer Virtual Tour Workshop held July 19 – July 22, 2021. Virtual tours increase accessibility to place-based education and enable educators to create immersive digital experiences that are tailored to the needs of their learners. This four-day workshop trained educators on all aspects of creating virtual tours from developing a sense of place to capturing 360-degree images. Many NASA associated entities participated in this training: Arctic SIGNS, Aurorasaurus, Astromaterials, Smoky Mountain STEM collaborative, Desert Research Institute, and Stennis to name a few. Throughout the workshop, participants collaborated and supported each other in developing their tours and incorporating NASA science in creative ways. We look forward to sharing their catalog of virtual tours in the near future.
